2020 Recap

2020 Recap

Tuatara entered the year humbly with a single employee and an office that needed a lot of growing into. Despite the many challenges this year had to offer we've grown into an amazingly talented team of 12, working from across the globe. It feels indecent to recount the year's events without acknowledging the heavy impact of Covid on virtually every individual on the planet.

We've been luckier than most and our working and personal lives for the most part weren't affected beyond inconvenience. It has been uplifting to see the resilience of our industry and a relatively smooth transition to large scale remote working. At Tuatara we welcome this new trend and hope the industry at large adopts it long term.

Client Work

It's been a very busy year, along the many projects that are currently in development or due to release soon, in 2020 we've helped ship the following titles:

  • Screen 1
  • Valorant 7
  • Titan 6
  • Submerged 1

Internal Development

Besides co-development, we've been hard at work on internal projects.

Marketplace

In October we've released our first high-quality marketplace asset pack for the Unreal Engine, Concrete Debris. Next year our plan is to expand our marketplace product line, if you have specific requests feel free to let us know!

  • Tuatara Debris Gallery 4
  • Tuatara Debris Gallery 2

Website + social media

In July we've launched our new website and social media accounts, this went a long way in giving us a more professional look! We're looking forward to many more exciting entries soon.

Game Development

We've been busy developing a couple of game prototypes which are currently in different stages of production. Here's a very early look at one of them, a multiplayer physics based action brawler:

2021

We're very excited to start the next year with some amazing new partners and eager to show you a lot more of our work.

Even more than that though, we hope 2021 is a better year for everyone. From all of us at Tuatara, happy Holidays and a great and safe New Year!
